The Old Schoolhouse at Kina Beach Vineyard was originally built in the 1930s and gained a new lease of life when it was relocated to Kina Beach Vineyard in 1999 and lovingly restored, providing a setting of charm and comfort that you will be very reluctant to leave. It is enjoyed by travellers seeking comfort, relaxation and romance.
The cottage's former existence as an old New Zealand schoolhouse is still recognisable from the outside. A lot of effort has been put in to ensure that the interior is light and airy but still offering the character of yesteryear. You will even find the original school bell hanging at the front door.
The Old Schoolhouse is a one bedroom, one bathroom cottage with a generous footprint of 70 square meters, nestled in the heart of Kina Beach Vineyard. Private and romantic, featuring original windows and polished native timber wooden floors, it offers stunning views across the vineyard, out to the Tasman Sea as well as the Moutere Inlet and the mountain ranges. A large deck with BBQ complements the open plan living with fireplace, full kitchen and dining area. Complimentary tea and Nespresso coffee is included with your stay.
